fascia - flat, horizontal band around the roof perimeter
boxed eave - overhang of the roof enclosed by boards/moldings so that rafters aren't visible
cornice - decorative section just below the roof line (may be simple or ornate)
pitch - degree of slope/steepness of the roof from the ridge to the eave or valley
low slope - roof angle or pitch less than 30 degrees
normal slope - roof angle or pitch between 30 to 45 degrees
steep slope - roof angle greater than 45 degrees
